Providence St. Joseph Health Respiratory Care Practitioner NICU Transport in Seattle, Washington

Description $10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment FTE: 0.9 Night Shift - transporting NICU patients Sets up and operates various types of critical care and respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and or support in a referral center, during ground transport and in base hospital. Ground transport will be limited to neonatal, infant and pediatric patient populations. Performs skills and management of specialty equipment and techniques pertaining to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients, such as neonatal resuscitation, delivery room attendance, airway support & stabilization, surfactant administration, Nitric administration, conventional and HFOV necessary for NICU/PICU. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training and Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State. Coursework/Training and must successfully complete hospital orientation, Respiratory Care Department orientation, and Neonatal and Pediatric orientation. Coursework/Training and must successfully complete transport educational class and transport process for Neonatal and Pediatrics. Dependent on the campus they work at. Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics 1 year of previous hospital-based work experience, in the field of Respiratory Care. Preferred qualifications: Upon hire: Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (RRT-NPS) - National Board for Respiratory Care Experience with Neonates & pediatric patients Why Join Providence?
