Providence St. Joseph Health Resident Services Coordinator *Onsite* in Seattle, Washington

Description Providence is calling a Resident Service Coordinator to work onsite. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of community-dwelling older adults. The Resident Service Coordinator's role is to engage with individual residents and the resident community to promote quality of life, resource utilization, and successful tenancy in an affordable housing setting. This position is based at Providence Peter Claver House, a Providence Supportive Housing site in Southeast Seattle providing quality, permanent housing to approximately 90 residents. A hybrid schedule of 32 hours onsite, 8 hours remote is available with supervisor approval. Core responsibilities include: Identify and promote resident opportunities to access local and national resources/services addressing medical, social, emotional, financial, and other needs. Provide case management services as needed; assesses, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate to improve experiences and outcomes. Implement educational and wellness programs/events based on resident interests and needs. Collaborate with property management in addressing resident safety and housing related concerns. Required Qualifications: 2 years - Experience in social service delivery with senior citizens and/or non-elderly disabled. Knowledge of national and local benefits, supportive services, and other resources for community-dwelling older adults and non-elderly disabled adults. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Social Work, Human Services, or degree in Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling; Experience working in affordable housing. Experience working with diverse populations experiencing mental health, disability, substance abuse, and financial challenges. Why Join Providence?
