This recruitment offers a $5,000.00 Recruitment Incentive for eligible positions and eligible new employees joining UW Medicine UW Medical Center- Montlake Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has an opportunity for Registered Nurses who are interested in transitioning into a new specialty. This position is for nurses who are currently practicing in a level II NICU or who have inpatient hospital experience.

  • Our NICU cares for premature and critically ill newborn infants, born here at the UWMC or transported in from outlying hospitals.

  • You will be caring for multiple births and micro preemies—babies born before 26 weeks gestation or weighing less than 2.2 pounds.

  • As part of UW Medicine, the NICU has access to the most advanced neonatal research.

  • Our team has been instrumental in setting the standard for reducing risk of brain damage and lung problems in premature babies across the nation.Come work with an interdisciplinary team of neonatologists, nurses, neonatal physical therapists, respiratory care practitioners, pharmacists, nutritionists, other health professionals and parents as members of a baby's health-care team. Shift 90%-Night ShiftApplications will be reviewed as they are received, early application is encouraged as there are limited positions. What we are looking for:

  • Experienced nurses that are new to specialty or level II NICU experiences.

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

  • Have/obtain an RN licenses to practice in Washington State or currently hold a MSL
