Job Title: Project/Program Manager III
Job Description
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and programs. Oversees all aspects of projects and programs, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of projects and programs. This role may require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is expected. The role relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks and leading and directing the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected, and the role typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete projects and programs.
Oversee all aspects of projects and programs.
Set deadlines and assign responsibilities.
Monitor and summarize progress of projects and programs.
Prepare reports for upper management regarding project and program status.
Lead and direct the work of others.
Plan and accomplish goals using extensive experience and judgment.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical skills.
Business management acumen.
Experience with Excel pivot tables.
General analytical capabilities.
Project management experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA, Math, Engineering, Science) preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent business judgment and practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
Experience with SQL is required.
Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Quantitative skills and strong data/analytics skills.
Experience and comfort with P&L statements, including interpreting and aggregating financial data.
Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where both tactical and strategic activities are driven in parallel.
Strong technical ability and capability of understanding complex data structures to pull base-level insights autonomously.
