Seattle Children’s Hospital Program Manager III - Operational Excellence and Transformation in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: The Program Manager III is responsible for management of a specific, highly complex program or group of highly complex programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling and budgeting activities and works in collaboration with leaders to implement the program's objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Responsible for monitoring the program's effectiveness and mobilizing stakeholders in support of continuous improvement to the program. Leads interdepartmental activities ensuring ongoing effective program operation and/or implementation. Responsible for identifying strategic opportunities to enhance or expand the program, developing plans and presenting proposals to management. Manages the process of executing initiatives essential for the success of the program, including communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external. Oversees and leads teams in support of the program's objectives. This level has wide latitude for independent judgment and decision making in executing on the goals of the program. #LI-JC1 Job Posting Addendum: Key Accountabilities Project Management: Manage effective implementation of the project as well as integration of the project with other SCH initiatives Ensure that project efforts are coordinated across the organization as needed Ensure excellence within all aspects of the project Provide effective leadership to the project team Facilitate project/program team meetings: Schedule meetings, reserve rooms, prepare agenda, run meetings, and prepare meeting minutes to include action items. Oversee programs and portfolios to achieve overall program goals. Manage the overall scope, schedule and budget as appropriate, assisitng with project selection and prioritizaion, managing cross project dependencies, helping to resolve competing resources, monitoring and resolving shared risks and communicating intgrated status to program sponsors. Establish reliable procedures, reporting tools and dashboards intended to evaluate actual results against expected costs and benefits, project/program status and congruence with strategic goals and objectives. Proactively identify, escalate and resolve issues that may impact the successful execution of the initiatives and attainment of organizational goals. Requirements: Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in business, health care or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Seven (7) years experience in a lead role overseeing program/project management. Five (5) years experience working on quality and process improvement projects with cross-functional teams; including data collection, analysis and reporting. Proven record of leading large project teams through project completion, program planning, execution and status reporting. Demonstrated successful experience working with vendors, consultants and other purchased services. Knowledge of Lean concepts and methods. Experience representing program in management meetings with executive-level program stakeholders. Required Credentials: NA. Preferred: Masters in Health Administration, business, or health care-related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Awareness of current and emerging trends in project management technologies, techniques, issues and approaches. Experience working in public health, health care or social services. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $53.80 - $80.70 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $111,903.00 - $167,855.00 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
