Amazon Program Manager II, Growth Consulting - Seller Growth and Development in Seattle, Washington

Are you interested in a unique role that will innovate on how we grow a Seller’s business on Amazon? The Growth Consulting Program Team is at the forefront of our mission to better understand and positively impact the Selling Partner experience.

This role will own driving efficiency in existing Seller feedback collection mechanisms as well as building out and scaling new processes. The Growth Consulting Program team supports Growth Consultants as they partner cross-functionally to drive customer-obsessed development of new products, tools and features designed to help Sellers grow. In this role, you will own Product/Tech relationships and develop novel solutions to ensure that partner teams have timely access to relevant and impactful Voice of Seller data. You will also have the opportunity to actively address discovered Seller needs and gaps in the Seller experience by directly developing data-rich content and working with Marketing to disseminate that content at scale.

The right candidate will have an intense drive to fundamentally change the growth trajectory of a Seller’s business. They will demonstrate a tendency to value and advocate for long-term value, and the ability to influence without authority while navigating in a highly ambiguous space. The candidate will need to have a blend of core Amazon Leadership Principles, including Customer Obsession, Learn and be Curious, Dive Deep, Delivers Results and Invent and Simplify. We value candidates that are independent operators, have strong writing and data analysis skills, and a desire to solve complex problems by deploying quantitative and qualitative research.

Key job responsibilities

• Own Surveys to support a broad range of Seller Research, including targeting, dissemination, and analysis of results.

•Scale a new Trigger-based survey mechanism to cover the full suite of Seller Growth Product Experiences and influence product roadmaps.

•Work closely with Product Managers, Growth Consultants and BIEs to design and implement solutions to grow Sellers at scale.

• Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, identify and pursue collaboration opportunities cross-org.

• Lead the creation of Seller-facing content, measure and track impact on core product KPI’s.

• Streamline/automate manual processes and increase team’s core output efficiency.

• Dive deep into data to find patterns for the problems that Sellers face that impact their growth.

• Demonstrate strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Conceptualize, build, launch and evolve programs that drive growth for Selling Partners globally.

About the team

The Growth Consulting team influences and defines the technology and strategies we deploy to help Sellers grow World-Wide. Sellers deploy a wide range of strategies, both on and off-Amazon, to grow their businesses. We want to understand and become experts in these strategies and accelerate the growth of all Sellers. This will entail working backwards from Seller pain-points, using qualitative and quantitative research to drive the evolution of content, technology, and the dissemination of information.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
