Amazon Product Marketing Manager, Selling Partner Communities in Seattle, Washington

We accomplish this vision with the following three objectives: 1) Build magical experiences to provide SPs opportunities to connect directly with Amazon and each other, thus creating a valuable and inclusive community, 2) Create and govern SP communications and content to inspire, educate, and engage in multi-directional channels between SPs and Amazon at scale; and 3) Measure SP Perceptions, develop SP Insights, and advocate on their behalf.

We are seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager who has a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns, especially Email. This role is responsible for Email Marketing strategy to drive awareness and trial for multiple seller facing products and features, and to provide relevant education to help global Amazon sellers to grow their business. As an Email Marketing Manager, you will formulate email communication strategies, design, implement and launch email campaigns. You are also responsible to analyze campaign results, synthesize learnings, make decisions and prioritize future email marketing roadmap using a data-driven approach. You are comfortable in engaging with internal and external stakeholders, driving multi-channel campaigns that deliver outputs. The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment where they have end-to-end ownership in a white space, is an excellent communicator and has strong business judgment.

Key job responsibilities

• Define the strategy and manage the full lifecycle of complex marketing initiatives based on seller insights and tying back to business priorities and goals.

• Identifying the right prioritization among the regions and building a tiered marketing strategy to focus on the right areas while providing marketing services globally.

• Analyze and define key objectives, messages and channels, to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of Seller Forums.

• Build, test, and optimize seller campaigns, making continuous improvements based on performance, and identify ways to automate successful campaigns

• Create high-quality, engaging communications and copy for customers across a variety of channels, including search, emails, social, display and others

• Partner with product and technology teams to identify new opportunities: Scope and deliver recommendations on future state to deliver targeted placements of products and campaigns throughout the seller journey.

• Set, track and report on performance metrics - Working with SPC BI and analytics to establish the right reporting dashboards and to define and measure progress, while contributing to period reporting (XBRs)

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
