Amazon Principal Product Manager - Tech, Candidate Generation (CanGen) in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Sourcing Tech team is building a world class experience for Amazon sourcing recruiters as they find the best talent for Amazon businesses. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager Technical to envision, lead and build bar-raising solutions for Sourcing Tech customers. Successful candidates will be curious, analytical, and excited to drive innovative solutions on behalf of customers. This role can be located in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive technical and product planning for a large, complex subdomain.

  • Own building strategic product plans – both the vision and detailed planning in the form of written narratives.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in modern product management practices using design-led approaches powered by research.

  • Build a network across partners and business leaders inside Amazon.

  • Demonstrate relentless customer obsession and work with peer groups in incrementally delivering on your exciting product vision.

  • Manage and deliver large scale customer-facing products.

  • Demonstrate business acumen and creativity in envisioning ground-breaking concepts by fostering an environment of experimentation and innovative thinking.

  • Dive deep in product and technical metrics, to identify problem areas, and build plans and use tension mechanisms to address those at our scale.

  • Own the product architecture for the experiences you build, including frameworks, analytics, data exchange, security and privacy, and enable our software to become a force multiplier for Amazon Talent Acquisition.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
