Amazon Principal Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Pharmacy in Seattle, Washington

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Tech to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy! This role will own defining the vision, requirements, and working with our technical teams to implement this vision of our supply chain technology systems. In 2025, this role will focus on building our Inventory Planning Control systems from the ground up, which is a key fundamental component for our supply chain technology. This role will collaborate with both Amazon Pharmacy operations, business, and technology (e.g., software and science) stakeholders as well ones within SCOT and Selling Partner Services. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related technical discipline or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years’ work experience performing relevant product management job functions

  • 5+ years’ experience working with internal customer and technical teams to collect

  • requirements and define software services and features

  • 5+ years’ experience defining and delivering a roadmap; demonstrated ability to influence strategic product direction

  • Strong written and oral communication skill and experience presenting to senior Leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated decision making through business analysis and data, as well as with intuition and creativity

  • Experience leading new launches of consumer health products and services

  • 5+ years’ experience working on products and problems of a technical nature

  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy through ambiguous circumstances

  • Strong sense of accountability, sound personal judgment and global business acumen

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic work environment

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
