$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) Sleep Surgery clinic has an outstanding opportunity for an ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant. WORK SCHEDULE: • Full-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours per week • M-F Day Shift

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Harborview Medical Center's Sleep Surgery program focuses on surgery for treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in adults and children. Surgical treatments for OSA include a broad range of procedures performed in the clinic or operating room that enlarge and/or stabilize the upper airway.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide advanced nursing and medical management services • Perform examinations, establish diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic tests • Prescribe medications, perform clinic procedures • Determine appropriate treatments and/or referrals for medical problems related to OSA • Manage post-operative inpatients • Partner with our Patient Care Coordinator for care coordination • Work closely with Sleep Surgery faculty in all aspects of patient care

REQUIREMENTS: • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing AND Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges AND National certification as a Nurse Practitioner AND ACLS certification

OR

• Physician Assistant: Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Washington with national certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA). Applicant must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the Organized Medial Staff of the hospital under Medical Staff By-Laws for hospital-based positions. AND ACLS certification
