Nanny sought by The Hutchesons in Seattle, WA, to care for a child. 37 hrs/wk.

Duties include: Assisting with the daily routines, including feeding the child, getting ready for preschool, buying groceries for the child, and bathing. Driving the child to and from preschool, playdates, doctor's appointments, and appointments as needed. Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks. Preparing baby bottles, including washing and sterilizing, according to parents' recommendations. Preparing appropriate meals for the child transitioning to solid foods. Changing diapers. Maintaining diaper supplies and replenishing diaper bags as necessary. Tending to the general and basic needs of the child while providing supervision to ensure the child's safety in day-to-day activities. Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities---including free play, arts and crafts, games, math, and reading. In case of illness or injury, providing the necessary medical attention, for example, closely monitoring the child's symptoms and health concerns, taking their temperature, and administering medications as directed. Collaborating closely with the child's parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Instructing the child on proper health and personal care habits, such as toilet behavior; assisting as needed. Assigning chores as appropriate to teach the child responsibility, self-control, and self-confidence. Creating a safe environment for the child by removing hazards and enforcing appropriate boundaries. Cleaning up (vacuum/sweep/wipe down) areas the child utilizes. Performing housekeeping tasks related to the child's care, such as doing laundry, folding clothes, washing dishes, and changing the child's linens. Organizing the child's closet, drawers, and toys. Potty training. Driving the child to preschool. Duties are subject to change as the child grows and the family has more children.

Requires a High School Diploma, or GED, or foreign equivalent and 24 months of experience as a Nanny, Babysitter, or Au Pair. Relocation to a different MSA within the U.S. for personal reasons may be required.
