Kidus Montessori Montessori Lead Teacher in Seattle, Washington
Teach kindergarten students using the Montessori Teaching Method. Design and develop lesson plans and course materials for a variety of subjects, including language, arithmetic, writing, reading, art, science, and music, for use in all kindergarten classrooms at the school. Tutor students individually and in small groups to teach literary, artistic, scientific, and mathematical concepts. Establish and maintain a safe learning environment to promote students' physical, mental, and social development. Monitor and assess the academic progress and social development of each student and adapt class plans and assignments as necessary to meet each student's needs. Maintain and review qualitative records of students' progress and conduct parent-teacher conferences. Participate in continuing education classes and conferences to refine understanding of the Montessori method and provide updates, reports, and guidance to other teachers based on findings. Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to other Montessori Teachers as appropriate. Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in the job offered or a related Montessori teaching position. The position requires a Montessori Teacher Diploma. The position requires skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 40 hours/week. Salary: $63,870.00 per year. Job Site: Seattle, WA.
