Amazon Internal Communications Specialist, People Experience and Technology Communications in Seattle, Washington

Description

We’re seeking a high-judgement, self-motivated, and creative communications professional to support employee-facing communications for Amazon’s HR organization, known as People Experience and Technology (PXT). This individual will manage strategic and tactical internal communications covering workplace news and employee experiences.

This individual will collaborate closely with HR and across the PXT comms team to develop innovative internal communication strategies, clear narratives, and clever tactics that focus on informing and engaging global audiences. This candidate must possess talent for collaboration, have the ability to flex when needed, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business to deliver the most important information to employees.

Key job responsibilities

• Work across the PXT comms team to source and deliver communications and original content focused on employee experiences and Amazon’s culture

• Drive communications for global workplace HR programs and initiatives

• Provide internal communications support and counsel to PXT partners

• Measure and report on outcomes and provide strategic adjustments

• Coordinate the delivery of content across internal channels

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship communications experience (preferably employee facing)

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional communication plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exemplary written and oral communications skills

  • Experience working within a multi-national company or an organization with 50,000+ employees

  • Experience working with HR organizations

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
