Job Description

The ideal Allocator is analytical, motivated and results or ientated. This role supports operating in the allocation space (e.g. Item Intent, MRI Reporting , Assortment Builder , and JDA Allocation and RMS ).  This position requires a hybrid work schedule - 3 days a week in office at Nordstrom's headquarters in Seattle, WA.

A day in the life…

• Provide JDA Allocat ion support in Full Price & Off- Price businesses.

• E xecute buys in JDA Allocation based on Merchants vision of orders and reorders. 

• Develop Allocation Strategy and proactively look for opportunities to ensure efficient and accurate allocations.

• Act as Subject Matter Expert within the Inventory Deployment suite; continue to develop proficiency. 

• Develop an understanding of the needs, wants and expectations of the customer.  

• Demonstrate ability to style flex based on audience. 

• S how flexibility to support the business amidst changing priorities. 

• Contribute to waste reduction and continuous improvement efforts.

  You own this if you have…

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or related field preferred.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail merchandise Planning, Inventory Management or equivalent required.

• Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership and initiative. 

• Show commitment to team through collaboration and positive, proactive communication.

• Demonstrate productivity using time efficiently and effectively to deliver results.

• Handle all responsibilities in a solution - focused and timely way.

• Proficiency in MS Office suite required.

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills required.

• Proven ability to work in a fast paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $69,500 - $132,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
