We are looking for a Leader for Amazon Pay in US. This senior executive oversees Strategic Account Sales with focus on identifying and acquiring to Amazon Pay the most strategic merchants across US, and Strategic Account Management with focus on managing the most strategic existing merchants, creating opportunities for them to grow and develop their business with Amazon Pay. This leader fully owns the design and execution for the customer acquisition and growth strategy in the US, ultimately owning the US P&L. They work closely with Amazon Pay Integration, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering functions and other Amazon teams to implement their strategy. They will report to the Director of Amazon Pay US and Europe, helping to shape the strategic priorities of this global business.
The ideal candidate will have a record of accomplishment of building, rolling out and managing new merchant and consumer businesses. They have experience defining and implementing global strategies to: uniquely understand unmet buyer and seller needs; build technology driven offering that facilitate commerce for consumers and merchants; roll-out services with various go-to-market partners; operate commerce related services in a profitable way. This role requires an individual who can combine innovation and a passion for building with a strong mind for operations, execution, and growth in a fast-moving emerging business. They will have a solid understanding of the P&L of a service-oriented business. They will be able to interface with technology leaders and client executives, able to translate from needs to solution, from specifications to benefits. They will have operated in a senior management capacity and earned the trust of technology and go-to-market teams. They will combine the ability to engage at senior levels while remaining connected to detail, unafraid to operate on the front line as a creative problem solver. Crucially, they will have built high performance commercial and/or operations teams.

Bachelor’s degree is required for this role, or related work experience.

Experience in developing and delivering merchant services products
Experience leading sales, account management and/or marketing teams and owning customer experience, preferably in the context of a B2B2C services and marketplaces
P&L responsibility and a proven track record of growing top-line and bottom-line

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
