This is a hybrid role that will require you to be in the office 1 time a week. Job Summary The Graphic Designer is an integral part of the creative team, serving as a resource for graphic design and photography for use in print and digital mediums. This position works collaboratively with other creative staff to design and produce materials for use by CareOregon and partner CCOs. In addition to designing art for print and digital use, the Graphic Designer will produce desktop-based publications, images, PowerPoint presentations, web banners, ads, brochures, and will partner with internal staff, translators and print vendors to create print-ready pages, and design and purchase ancillary materials (such as giveaways, incentives, etc.). This position will also serve as a resource to partner organizations. Essential Responsibilities Graphic Design Think creatively and propose design concepts, graphics and layouts. Complete graphic design projects that meet specifications provided by the Art Director or senior graphic design staff. Work toward alignment with organizational branding, themes, and messaging strategies. Apply design concepts and knowledge of computer design software to design and produce artwork for a variety of marketing, advertising, and packaging projects, including print and online design. Utilize skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom and Acrobat to produce or update print and digital materials. Finalize print-ready pages for print production. Vendor Relations & Resource Support Partner with design and production staff, both internally and externally. Provide input into vendor research and selection; work collaboratively with vendors and notify Art Director of delivery concerns. Administer the organization's image library, following designated processes for utilization and storage. Campaign Development/Participation Partner with writers and other creative staff in the production of marketing campaigns. Coordinate campaign projects as necessary. Work with communications staff to communicate visually with internal and external audiences.
