We continue to iterate to build more meaningful customer experiences and business development (BD) is a critical to our success. We are seeking a Business Innovation leader in the Global Services Deals Engine (GSDE) to incubate and establish mechanisms and tools that integrate BD functions, improve visibility for deals, and mobilize GS deal leaders to maximize ROI in all specialized commercial deal pursuits. This is a unique opportunity to build the engine that drives specialized commercial go to market (GTM) with customers across all phases of their cloud journeys, unlocking opportunities for high-growth and scale for AWS, GS, and customers.

Support specialized commercial GTM through building fundamental solutions to mobilize GTM effectively.
Work with the GSDE Innovation team to build foundational GTM programs and tools.
Deliver results to increase win-rates for specialized deals.
Increase incremental revenue driven by specialized deals at scale across the GSDE organization.
Build capabilities to proactively and reactively measure results of GSDE engagement.

About the team
We are an AWS deals team and partner across GTM teams by crafting high-quality commercial deal strategies within both Commercial and Public sectors to sustainably grow the business and accelerate customer outcomes. Our team of dedicated deal leads have expertise across Global Services and at each business unit level (AMS, ProServe, Training & Certification, Security, and Support) to build, execute, and accelerate commercial strategies at the singular, multi-GS, and pan-Amazon levels. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Technical acumen to build Excel macro-based solutions and basic data queries.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills (both written and verbal).
Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in deal/commercial roles at a technology products/services company with demonstrated results.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Data driven but comfortable with ambiguity. Very good problem-solver.
Strong bias for 'working backwards' from internal and external customers. Favors iterative hypothesis/test/analyze/ improve approaches.
Demonstrates strong business acumen and high judgment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
