How will you make an impact?

The Global Product Manager in Molecular Biology will support the PCR Plastics and Thermal Cycler product lines. The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the life cycle of products in the portfolio, supporting the innovation/launch of new products to meet the needs of future scientists, setting the long-term vision and strategy, and ultimately supporting the team in driving the growth of the business.

What will you do?

  • Support product life cycle management of the product portfolio including new product development and execution of in-progress NPIs to meet market needs

  • Synthesize market research, Voice of the Customer (VOC), and competitive landscape into practical insights, and translate insights into strategy and tactics

  • Collaborate with internal functional partners (sales, operations, program management, marketing) to support customers and get results

  • Work to optimize and improve operational processes using qualitative and quantitative techniques

  • Prioritize and scope activities and tasks based on business need and customer impact

  • Set up and support management of all project related activities including documentation, SKU creation, pricing strategies, and product forecasts

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering or equivalent field required. MBA or Master's degree in Life sciences field a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience with 3 years of relevant Product or Project Management or related experience

  • Experience working within life sciences, biomanufacturing, biotechnology, R&D or clinical markets preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence others

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and work in matrix environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present information

  • Ability to manage multiple complex individual and team tasks autonomously to meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to travel globally, approximately 15%

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $113,500.00–$151,300.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
