Amazon.com is seeking a Finance Manager to support for the Video advertising business as part of the DAV Advertising Finance team. This individual will be finance lead support for Twitch and own defining metrics, forecasting models and lead deep-dives into weekly trends to generate actionable insights for video leadership team. The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables while maintaining high standards.
The right individual can dive deep into data to understand and identify business trends, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively and implement process enhancements. The successful candidate will have a proven work ethic and a track record of delivering results.
Key job responsibilities
• Produce, analyze, and improve weekly reporting for the business
• Support annual / quarterly revenue planning processes
• Ensure accuracy and controllership of revenue
• Ensure data integrity as owner of multiple datasets by troubleshooting data related issues and implementing mechanisms to proactively detect possible issues
• Identify reporting issues and gaps in processes and then resolve them by partnering with cross-functional teams
• Support the design and implementation of reporting solutions and metrics to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
• Ad hoc analysis including creating, maintaining and expanding the scope of the models that help drive the business
About the team
DAV Finance team supports our Devices ad products (Fire TV, Fire Tablet, etc.), Amazon's emerging Audio advertising business and the video advertising business. These are nascent, high growth and high visibility areas with stakeholders across Amazon Advertising, Amazon Music, Fire TV, Alexa, Echo and Prime Video. This is a team of builders with a focus on not only creating world class ad products, but also world class consumer electronics products and services. The DAV Finance team is designed to be collaborative; although team members have clear ownership of an area(s), success typically involves partnering with others in the broader Advertising finance team.
Key job responsibilities
• Build Reporting on Ad performance and customer experience KPIs
• Partner with Publisher, sales and Product teams to deliver OP1/OP2 plan.
• Provide strategic support to key business initiatives and investments
• Drive insightful deep dives into our business and present your findings to senior leadership
A day in the life
This role will support the Devices advertising business and will drive financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis, including creating, maintaining and expanding the scope of the models that help drive the business. Given the strategic nature of this business, this is a high visibility role. You will work hand-in-hand with your finance and business partners in advertising to improve reporting, perform impact analyses, and provides insights and recommendations.
About the team
Amazon Publisher Technology (APM) Finance team supports ads businesses for Devices (e.g. FireTV), Audio, Video (e.g. Freevee), and Store Display as well as Publisher Technology team. These are nascent, high growth and high visibility areas with stakeholders across Advertising, Amazon Music, FireTV, Alexa, and Prime Video. This is a team of builders with a focus on not only creating world class ad products, but also world class consumer experiences. The APM Finance team is designed to be collaborative; although team members have clear ownership of an area(s), success typically involves partnering with others in the broader finance team.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
MBA, or CPA
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
