Providence St. Joseph Health Executive Director, Service Delivery Alignment in Seattle, Washington

Description *This position is hybrid and can sit in the footprint of Providence in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, TX and MT. Possible required travel up to 10%. The Executive Director oversees projects and change management for the Enterprise Business Applications pillar under the direction of the Group VP. Key responsibilities of this role include managing project portfolios and leading change management initiatives for Providence's enterprise Oracle Cloud ERP, and UK Kronos timecard and workforce management systems. Essential Functions Project Portfolio Management - Strategic Functions: Directs adoption and enhancement of the project management processes. Refines implementation structures and tools using emerging strategies and technologies for project management. Works with EBA leaders to set and maintain project management standards and governance. Prioritizes EBA projects using a model linked to business strategy. Identifies and evaluates operating and strategic priorities, tracks value propositions, and executes the IS vision. Partners with business/IS/Operations councils to manage implementation and change. Works with pillar and business leaders to evaluate the scope and purpose of new requests. Manages and meets customer expectations for project success with measurable outcomes. Maintains relationships with business partners and senior leaders for knowledge sharing and best practice, and validates the value partners receive Analyzes implementation and delivery trends to drive continual improvement and organizational learning. Supports strategic planning processes and represents the PMO in decision-making and planning. Change Management - Strategic Functions: Develops and implements a comprehensive change management strategy, including strategies for stakeholder engagement during the project lifecycle, change impact assessment and readiness, and communicating with and training impacted caregivers. Manages customer expectations for each change initiative Continually improves and develops implementation structures and tools for change management Collaborates with other IS teams and training groups to align and enhance change management best practices. Department Management: Provides responsive leadership. Delegates, motivates staff, and evaluates performance. Recruits, trains, motivates, and develops teams of professionals. Balances multiple priorities and information needs across EBA programs, projects, and operational teams. Coordinates teamwork with multidisciplinary groups and facilitates strategy sessions. Builds consensus and agreement on courses of action when there are multiple perspectives. Develops and implements standards and policies for implementations and updates of EBA applications across Providence.
