Hyatt Director of Laundry in SEATTLE, Washington

Join us for an incredible opportunity to lead our Laundry Team as our Director of Laundry ! Based out of the Hyatt Regency Seattle, the Director of Laundry will support our multi-property complex comprised of Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.

The Director of Laundry is responsible for running the Laundry Department’s day-to-day operations including linens, sheets, and towels. This position requires a solid understanding of the Laundry operations, how it integrates with Housekeeping, maintaining laundry supplies and pars, while ensuring all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. In this role, you will be responsible in the efficiency of the department and production of linen. Candidate must be proficient in handling laundry equipment such as washers, ironers and folders. This individual must be able to lead a team of attendants effectively and provide support in different areas of the department to ensure proper flow, including providing staff training, development and scheduling, and jumping into the operations with a hands-on approach to assist where needed.

The Director of Laundry not only oversees the Laundry operations, but is also responsible for managing the strategy and efficiency for the operation, to successfully maximize laundry capabilities while maintaining a high level of service and production standards across the entire Collection.

The salary range for this position is $70,600 to $106,000. The anticipated budget for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education.
