The Logistics Services team and Logistics Contact Center (LCC) troubleshoot and resolve inventory, ordering, and delivery issues for 16,000 plus stores in the US and Canada. We serve as a primary feedback loop for both company-operated and licensed stores and provide centralized operational support for warehouse and logistics teams to provide alerts and communicate product outages.

As a Logistics Services Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing reporting, systems and tools that help us maximize the effectiveness of contact center resources and processes, service delivery systems and enhance supply chain performance. With a customer first approach, you will dive into complex systems and data to identify trends, develop performance metrics, and help us focus on areas where our customer needs us most.

An ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for customer service, be detail-oriented, curious, and enjoy leveraging nuanced systems to craft and share compelling stories.

As a Logistics Services Data Analyst, you will…

  • Create and maintain all reporting and data for Logistics Services to provide an overview of provider performance metrics, customer contacts, overall performance, and more.

  • Provide insights and produce ad hoc analytics of service issue trends by provider/region/area.

  • Assist in creating and developing structured presentations that detail project scope, analyses, and recommendations.

  • Define approaches for data conversion and standardization across Logistics and cross-functional teams.

  • Produce a weekly business review and effectively present the information to facilitate solutions and decision-making.

  • Support system configuration and design (i.e. workflows, attribute information) to properly represent customer data.

  • Take ownership and initiative on recommending, developing and implementing contact center reporting changes to enhance the store experience and increase customer satisfaction.

We’d love to hear from people with:

Summary of Experience

  • Data Analytics role with emphasis on contact center, Supply Chain or related field with similar complexity – 3 years

  • Functional experience in Project Management, agile methodology, writing technical documentation and system design – 2 years

  • Gathering business requirements and performing user acceptance testing for data oriented technical solutions – 3 years

  • Understanding of the Retail landscape including Store Operations – 3 years

  • Storytelling complex ideas and data across audiences with varied experience – 3 years

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent professional experience.

  • Familiarity with native reporting capabilities in contact management platforms such as ServiceNow, Amazon Connect, or comparable.

  • Highly skilled and experienced in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Proficiency in Alteryx or similar analytics automation workflow tools.

  • Strong understanding of and proficient with data gathering, management, analysis, and visualization tools (e.g. TOAD, Tableau, Oracle, Incorta, SQL, Excel, or comparable tools).

  • Proven track record of demonstrating critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical proficiency.

  • Excellent customer service, verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
