Seattle Children’s Hospital Data & Administrative Coordinator in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: Tuberculosis remains the largest cause of death from a bacterial infection with 1.5 million deaths in 2022. The Parish Lab works on understanding the biology of the causative agent, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and discovering and developing novel drugs for tuberculosis. See the link below for further information regarding Prof. Parish and her lab: We are looking for a entry-level Data and Administrative Coordinator to provide support for daily laboratory operations and support multiple research projects. The successful applicant will provide support to an active research and development program. They will be responsible for activities necessary to ensure the timely production and dissemination of accurate reports and maintain laboratory inventory records and ordering. Process and upload primary research data into laboratory information management system (LIMS). Oversee data integrity and quality control. Generate data reports for external collaborators using report templates. Develop new protocols and/or databases for data handling and storage. Assist with data handling using a variety of computer software. Oversee receipt and registration of shipments. Place and track orders for laboratory supplies and maintain laboratory inventories. Assist with costings for equipment repair, maintenance, and replacement. Assist with preparing import/export permits and customs forms. Assist in preparing weekly work schedules and workplans. Assist with regular project team meetings to include scheduling and distributing agendas, data documents, and meeting minutes. Assist in tracking action items, project milestones, deliverables, and risks of projects. Assist with submission of progress reports and presentations. Assist with transfer of materials between internal and external stakeholders. Assist in preparing and tracking legal agreements Requirements: Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum three years of related experience. Required Credentials: N/A. Preferred: Prior data entry/clerical office experience or training. Administrative experience in a research setting. Previous experience with complex databases, data management, quality control and reporting. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $21.94 - $32.90 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $45,635.20 - $68,432.00 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. The union pay ranges can be found on the Seattle Children's website here: - Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
