JPMorgan Chase CRE Domain Architect Senior Associate in Seattle, Washington

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work on the Commercial Real Estate team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view of data. As a Senior Associate of Commercial Real Estate Domain Architecture within the Commercial Real Estate Data Architecture Team, you will be tasked with leading the design of data architecture, data modeling, and development. You will also define the data and metadata required to ensure consistent, high-quality data as a foundation for integrated reporting, and analytics across all Commercial Banking business processes. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with various teams on the design, development, operating model, and implementation on top of AWS cloud-based data platforms. Job responsibilities

  • Promote the data architecture design, data modeling, development and defining the data (and metadata) needed to provide consistent data with quality as a foundation for integrated reporting, analytics and data-promotion execution across all CB business processes.

  • Blend strategy, technology, data architecture design and modelling with a key focus on unlocking data to increase adoption by delivering with quality and right controls in place.

  • Collaborate across teams on the design, development, operating model and implementation on top of AWS cloud-based data platforms.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Hands on experience in AWS Cloud environment.

  • A strong passion for business intelligence and analytics with the ability to drive capability development using advanced data analytics techniques and statistical methodologies.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to distill information and results into simple concepts and actionable insights for a variety of audiences.

  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering analytics solutions in a dynamic cross-functional environment along with controlled delivery of specific data content through multiple channels including dashboards, API's, Kafka.

  • Excellent knowledge of Domain Driven Design principals for creating conceptual and logical models to describe a particular domain of data and use these models to inform the physical design of data-related projects; consult enterprise and industry models.

  • Experience with enforcing standard data modelling discipline, processes and metrics to support integrity of key CB data, and management oversight driving data quality programs.

  • The ability to Identify areas for efficiency across data domains, such as the elimination of duplicate data or feeds, identify systems of record and authoritative sources, create data quality rules, create data flow diagrams, and apply firm-wide standards and controls.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years understanding of high-level enterprise architecture and software design.

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on development and programming experience on either Java, Python, Groovy or NodeJS in an AWS or Google Cloud environment.

  • Expert in SQL and Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.

  • AWS certifications preferred.

  • Experience with building and deploying ML models on AWS esp. using AWS tools like Sagemaker, EC2, Glue etc.

  • Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), TDD, and BDD, DevOps and Automation.

  • Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data.
