We are in search of a Controller to join our team located in Seattle, Washington. This role will be instrumental in overseeing the financial aspects of our operations, which includes the supervision of the finance team. You will be responsible for handling an array of duties such as managing accounting functions, budget processes, and financial reporting. Responsibilities:

• Supervise the finance team, ensuring efficient and effective performance

• Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Handle the auditing process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Manage budget processes, performing regular reviews and adjustments as needed

• Perform month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all financial records are accurate

• Analyze financial statements, identifying and addressing any discrepancies

• Prepare annual financial reports, providing detailed and accurate financial information

• Utilize knowledge of Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various finance-related tasks

• Collaborate with the payroll team, ensuring all payroll processes are carried out accurately and in a timely manner

• Maintain up to date knowledge of DCAA regulations, ensuring all financial operations are in compliance.

The salary range for this position is $160k to $170k, w/ a bonus paid in monthly installments. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 4% match, with immediate vesting. Along with 15 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave and 9 paid holidays per calendar year!

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• CPA, CMA, MBA (a graduate degree/higher education certificate, etc) required

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to work with various ERP Solutions

• Deep understanding of Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Skills in managing the General Ledger

• Experience in Month End and Year End Closings

• Ability to analyze Financial Statements

• Experience in Annual Financial Reporting

• Familiarity with Audited Financial Statements
