We are actively recruiting for the CNA / Certified Nursing Assistants to start in August 2024!

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 90% FTE (36 hours a week)

  • Night Shift The new E1 ONCOLOGY UNIT , opening on the UW Medical Center – Northwest campus in 2024, E1 Oncology will be a newly established 29-bed inpatient oncology unit. This position will also be responsible for the on-site hospital-based outpatient infusion clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated nursing team that always puts their patients first.

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Certified Nursing Assistants at UW Medical Center-Northwest work at the patients' bedsides and take care of basic patient care needs. CNAs support and interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and other medical staff in caring for patients in need of physical and medical health care.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)

  • High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card upon hire.
