As a Business Intelligence Engineer on the Finance team supporting the Measurement, Ad Tech, and Data Science (MADS) team, you'll play a critical role in unlocking data-driven insights to power the next generation of Amazon's advertising solutions. Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and addressing complex business problems and opportunities to improve systems, processes, and tools. A day in the life
As a Business Intelligence Engineer supporting the Measurement, Ad Tech, and Data Science (MADS) team, your days will be a dynamic mix of technical and collaborative work. You'll partner with product, finance, and engineering teams to design scalable data solutions powering new advertising innovations. You'll also analyze KPIs, forecast key metrics, and uncover insights to inform critical business decisions - including preparing and automating reporting for regular reviews.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
