FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: 8-5 Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area or Seattle/Tacoma area Position Summary The Business Development Manager, in conjunction with leadership and the Sr. Marketing Consultant, is responsible for building and maintaining the market share of research opportunities in existing and new therapeutic areas on behalf of the Institute for Research & Innovation (MIRI). The Manager serves as a liaison and client relations advocate; plans, implements and evaluates expanded research capabilities; identifies, develops, and establishes business relationships with research sponsors, clinical research organizations, collaborators, patients and healthcare providers within the community. The incumbent collaborates with MIRI clinical research team and providers to align interests, capabilities, and strategic plan with industry to achieve results. Requirements Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a medical/clinical field or those with a RN license may be considered Current Washington state driver's license Minimum three (3) years of experience in clinical research, pharmacology or like industry Experience promoting research site capabilities to research sponsors, identifying and stewarding new customers in a mission-driven setting Experience managing significant financial expectations within a service-based institution Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $70,325.00 - $101,192.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
