Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking a BIM Professional to join our team as a member of our growing Engineering and Design division. You're great at: Project Coordination Coordinates efficiently and effectively with clients and BIM Professionals to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks. Responds to deadlines received by internal and external clients. Establishes a clear scope of work, hour's budget, and deliverables each time an assignment is received. Works with engineers, project managers, and other personnel to create project documents. Coordinates and performs drafting project duties and responsibilities. Includes HVAC, plumbing, process piping, electrical and detail system drawings. Project Development/Design Works with peers to further develop modeling or drafting skills and to learn more about building systems. Organizes the BIM environment and maintains all related documents. Promotes best practices to improve production efficiency in Revit. Develops positive working relationships with craft foremen and other field personnel assigned to your projects. Modeling Under direct supervision, provides 3D content in Revit based on markups provided. Performs 2D drafting in Revit. Updates backgrounds. Updates Model per schedule. Use AutoCAD to perform modeling. Revit Modeling using McKinstry Standards Utilizes Bluebeam for sessions, markups, projects and stamps Maintains and enforces current BIM Modeling Standards Creates riser diagrams Creates details in modeling software. What we would like to see from you: (2) Two years of experience in BIM or in the construction industry and One (1) year of experience in 3D/BIM modeling OR the equivalent in a four-year engineering school. Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills required. The pay range for this position is $69,840 - $107,800 per year however, base pay offered my vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
