Zillow, Inc. is seeking an Applied Scientist, Forecasting and Risk for its Seattle, WA office.

Job Duties: Collaborate with other Applied Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to conduct cutting-edge applied data research. Translate business opportunities into well-defined machine learning tasks. Find insights in diverse data sets and leverage those signals by applying and developing state of the art machine learning models and statistical techniques. Work closely with machine learning engineers to productionize and ship those models. Communicate complex machine learning analyses clearly to all audiences. Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Economics, or a related field. Education or experience in: Programming in Python or SQL; Applied Econometrics and Time Series model development and forecasting; Data engineering; and causal inference, statistics and applied econometrics methods.
