DESCRIPTION OF WORK You are tasked with providing strategic advice to the SWIF Director and Chief Claims Officer, evaluating current operations and structure, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and proposing restructuring in line with industry norms. In your role as Chief of Claim Services, you will collaborate extensively across SWIF, particularly focusing on claims services and field operations to ensure adherence to SWIF guidelines, regulations, and Worker's Compensation Law. Your responsibilities include formulating and enforcing rules, policies, and objectives for the Claims Services Division, approving mediation settlements, monitoring outcomes, and coordinating with IT for standardized reporting. Moreover, you will liaise with the Chief Counsel's Office to guarantee thorough investigations by SWIF adjudicators, analyze processes for improvement, and oversee claim reviews and audits through subordinate staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Scranton. This position may require travel. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six years of professional program planning and analysis experience in the field of occupational compensation, liability insurance, or casualty insurance that includes two years of experience supervising the administration of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation, liability insurance, or casualty insurance claims; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of experience supervising the administration of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation, liability insurance, or casualty insurance claims. Additional Requirement:

You must possess a Real ID or Passport for travel. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualification (not required):

A bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in business administration, healthcare, or a related field. How to Apply:
