Job Summary: To Learn and follow all SOP's of Packaging, follow all Safety regulations, Harvest and package all mushrooms under GMI/ Food Safety guidelines in a timely fashion, and follow correct labeling and traceability standards. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash tables, knives and cutting boards.
• ATP testing
• Box making
• Inventory log books
• Package all tills to GMI quality standards and policies.
• Be able to and maintain a set packing rate
• Shanklin operation procedures/policies/safety applications
• Correctly label all tills and master cases per customer order
• Strapping operating procedures/policies/safety applications
• Reading sale tickets to complete and double check upon completion
• Daily practices of Safety and Food requirements is a MUST
• Help in other departments when available and directed by supervisor/manager
• Proper daily paper work for each sales ticker for traceability

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Weekend work/shift changes when needed

• Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
• Good Attendance
• Weekly department cleaning
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Able to climb stairs, lift, bend, and twist. Lifting requirements 35 pound when needed.
• On feet standing all day
• Able to learn all mushroom varieties and quality standards.
• Following directions/procedures
• Communication within department and with managers/supervisors.
• Airline shipment procedures for shipment locations and pallets
• Any and all Managerial/supervisor requests

Minimum starting wage - $14.00/hr with possible increase after 90 days
