The Opportunity

This position works out of our Scottsdale, AZ location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

Technician, Senior Engineering performs automatic, manual, basic and advanced troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Work On

  • Performs automatic, manual, basic and advanced troubleshooting on products.

  • Ensures assemblies meet visual, mechanical, electrical criteria of design documentation, standards and inspection documentation.

  • Follows written work instructions and completes necessary paperwork accurately that is required for jobs.

  • Reviews records for device traceability and compliance.

  • Detects problems and initiates corrective action to control non-conforming material and product and assists in problem solving.

  • Trains employees and can function as a lead if necessary.

  • Assists in the development of workmanship standards and may perform work cell audits and report findings to Manager.

  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Associates Degree In electronics OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Minimum 5 years related experience in a similar manufacturing environment including three or more years of HDI experience.

  • Ability to independently carry out successive steps in accordance with procedures.

  • Ability to identify nonconformance in documentation, components, products, processes and facilities.

  • Ability to resolve problems in accordance with operating procedures.

  • Able to pass IPC610 Training.

  • Able to perform tasks associated with four or more products.

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.

  • Ability to travel approximately 5%.

  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

  • Occasional overtime is a requirement of this position.

The base pay for this position is $22.15 – $44.25 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
