Role and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

** Rate $15.00 per hour tips

Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel is highly desirable. A minimum of WSET Level 1 certification is required.

Sommelier’s have a passion for wine that is shared with our guests through their knowledge and understanding of the regions, grapes, vineyards and vintages of wines. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation. The right person will suggest recommended wine and food pairings as well as provide a refined presentation. The Ideal Candidate would:

· Oversee the storage and rotation of wine inventory, maintaining optimal conditions for aging and serving.

· Provide personalized recommendations and guidance to guests on wine selection, ensuring an exceptional and memorable dining experience.

· Attend regular wine tastings and educational sessions to enhance your understanding of wine.

· Training Servers and bartenders on product knowledge.

· Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine wine pairings for seasonal menus and special events.

· Stay updated with industry trends and new wine releases to continuously improve the wine program.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

· Valid WSET Level 1 (or higher) certification required.

· Flexible schedule to match business needs, including weekends & holidays.

· 3-5 years fine dining restaurant experience.

· CMS Certification
