Description

We are on the lookout for a Purchasing Agent/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, your primary focus will be on managing procurement needs, executing purchase orders, and maintaining relationships with current and potential vendors. In addition to procurement, this candidate must be proficient in accounts payable, as this position will also support the accounts payable team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing an excellent chance for you to showcase your expertise in accounting, procurement, and purchase orders.

Responsibilities:

• Execute quality, accurate, and timely purchase orders to support procurement needs.

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with current and potential vendors.

• Act as a liaison between Accounts Payable and suppliers to manage invoice resolution.

• Support Accounts Payable department, when needed

• Track pending approvals of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

• Assist project teams with execution support in relation to procurement operations.

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records and process customer credit applications efficiently.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.

• Contribute to budget processes and buying processes, demonstrating your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and NetSuite.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• High attention to detail

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledgeable about Buying Processes

• Proficiency in using NetSuite & Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Procurement

• Ability to manage Purchase Orders
