Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and interprets financial information and reconciles and manages key actual vs. budget variances

• Supports and/or builds annual budget for Arizona Evernorth Medical Group (ENCG) expenses in support of key business partners

• Reviews monthly financial information and records accruals to appropriately report financial results

• Prepares monthly/quarterly and annual projections and identifies emerging trends in assigned expense categories

• Supports annual budgeting process

• Prepares financial reports and works with key business partners to meet financial objectives

• Conducts fixed asset audits to ensure financial controls are maintained

• Analyzes results while working with multiple partners across Group Medical Practice

• Communicates and influences the process to ensure goals and targets are met

• Supports the development of policies and procedures to ensure adequate controls are in place for the management of the training portfolio across the Group Practice

• Maintains and supports the business financial reporting system

• Conducts moderate to complex financial analysis projections and reports results to various matrix partners

• Identifies trends, variances, and key issues and provides recommendations for adjustment

• Business project support as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required

• 5+ years of accounting, auditing and/or financial analysis experience

• Strong technical skills highly preferred, including experience with VBA, Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL, Axiom, Alteryx, Hyperion

• Healthcare industry experience preferred

• Experience working successfully in a matrix environment

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral

• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills to quickly work through data and summarize findings

• Strong attention to detail
