Data Engineer III wanted by American Express Global Business Travel, Egencia in Scottsdale, AZ. Designing, proposing, and deploying cloud database systems, leveraging AWS managed database services to support Egencias industry leading corporate travel platform; Consulting with application teams on database technology selection, schema design, database coding, and database performance tuning; Developing best practices for deploying, configuring, and monitoring high availability database systems within AWS; and Communicating and collaborating with Egencias application teams to drive Database Engineering initiatives.

Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field plus five (5) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience/skills. Must also have five (5) years of experience with Database setup & configuration for any one or a combination of: Snowflake, SQL Server or MongoDB; five (5) years of experience with Database Procedural Programming; five (5) years experience with Data Modeling; and four (4) years of experience with Scripting Language any one or a combination of Python, TSQL or Powershell.
