Vanguard Change Management Analyst in Scottsdale, Arizona

The Change Management Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring seamless IT changes, minimizing disruptions, and maintaining high-quality services. You will facilitate the change management process, ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices and Vanguard's standards. The Analyst will also support the release of new programs and software into live environments and while maintaining the integrity and functionality of existing systems.

  • This role will have a mandatory working schedule of 6am - 3pm PST (9-6pm EST).

  • This Hybrid Role (in-office Tues-Wed-Thurs) can be based in Scottsdale, AZ (preferred), Charlotte, NC, Malvern. PA.

In this role you will:

  • Support Change Enablement Operations production excellence by performing core tasks consistently:

  • Facilitates the introduction of beneficial changes into the live production environment.

  • Reviews and evaluates change records submitted into the system of record (ServiceNow)

  • Support and execution of a 2-week + forward schedule review model

  • Confirms submitted changes meet compliance requirements and are planned, tested, built and executed to provide desired outcomes while maintaining stability.

  • Contributes to maintaining the forward schedule of change and release, including collision management activities.

  • Participates in the facilitation of sub-divisional and cross-divisional Change Advisory Boards.

  • Acts as champion of the Change Management/Change Enablement Process and contributes to its improvement.

  • Assists crew with navigating the process and facilitates successful change submissions.

  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of change knowledge resources.

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the intersections between the Change Enablement process and other connected ITSM processes, such as Incident/Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Service Validation and Testing

  • Produces deliverables as needed, including meeting agendas and minutes, scheduled and ad-hoc reports, and post-mortem summaries.

  • Assists Major Incident Management in identifying change-related impacts.

  • Participates in on-call rotation schedule.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

Minimum of three years related work experience.

ITIL V4 Foundations Certification preferred.

Current Working knowledge of the intersections between the Change Enablement process and other connected ITSM processes, such as Incident/Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Service Validation and Testing.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
