Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role involves transitioning AP systems, processing invoices, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The workplace will initially require on-site presence for a few weeks before transitioning to a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities:

• Processing a high volume of invoices on a daily basis

• Ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions, prioritizing precision over speed

• Utilizing various accounting software systems for efficient work processes

• Performing 3-way matches to verify invoices

• Responding to vendor statement inquiries promptly and professionally

• Leveraging knowledge of accrual accounting practices in daily work

• Conducting regular audits to ensure financial data integrity

• Managing account coding tasks for accurate record keeping

Requirements

• Proficient in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

• Familiarity NetSuite

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Auditing and Automated Clearing House (ACH)

• Proficiency in 3 Way Matching

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role is beneficial.
