Job Description

A federal client of Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support cloud migration and refactoring efforts, design and optimize AWS cloud-native environments, and maintain DevSecOps pipelines. The role involves deploying cloud infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes and Docker, developing application migration strategies, refactoring legacy applications, and ensuring compliance with USTRANSCOMs objectives. The engineer will also design CI/CD pipelines, perform load testing, and maintain technical documentation.

Skills and Requirements

• Must hold an Associate's degree+ DOD Cyber Workforce Framework OR a Bachelor's degree

• Must be comfortable and willing to satisfy DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) certifications

• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Expertise in cloud migration strategies.

-Experience with tools like Fortify, Nessus, and SonarQube.

• Proficient in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible. - Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect

• Google Cloud Professional Engineer

• Azure Administrator preferred. null
