JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanic

Qualifications:

1.

Have demonstrated mechanical abilities and/or training in automotive or truck repair.

2.

Be a self-starter; able to work alone as well as with other people.

3.

Be able to organize tasks and complete within required time frame.

4.

Have good communication skills; able to express yourself in understandable terms.

5.

Must be a team playerable to view the importance of your part in the total picture.

Duties:

1.

Maintain the buses in top operating condition; either from driver notification, scheduled maintenance, or self-inspection.

2.

Keep shop clean and well maintained; remove snow as needed; mow grass and weeds as needed; keep gravel lot well maintained.

3.

Provide summer maintenance on buses according to checklist provided.

4.

Wash

buses during school year as needed.
