We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Loan Closer - Support to join our team in the banking industry at our Berkeley Heights, New Jersey location. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and review financial analyses of loans from various sources, including brokers and realtors, while enhancing customer and referral experiences through ongoing interactions. Create prescreens to present loan opportunities and assist in preparing complete loan application packages, resolving any issues before full credit review. Support the Sales Team by compiling necessary financial, collateral, and credit information for timely proposal issuance. Manage transactions in a high-production environment to maintain client service levels and quality. Assist with credit analysis, documentation gathering, and resolving transaction questions during the course of the transaction. Represent the company with integrity, deliver high levels of customer service, and develop relationships with referral sources for additional opportunities. Complete additional projects as assigned.

Requirements • Proficiency in Abila MIP software

• Strong data processing skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated experience in loan closing processes

• Familiarity with closing documents

• Knowledge of compliance in relation to loan agreements

• Prior experience in loan underwriting

• Understanding of Small Business Administration operations

• Experience in small business lending

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field is preferred.
