is currently seeking a Fuel

Driver with a CDL B and Haz Mat Certification. The employee will drive tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or lubricating oil to customers

. This position places an emphasis on reliability and attentiveness, as maintaining both a truck log and the trucks themselves are daily responsibilities that come along with the position.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • * Perform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • * Drives truck into position to load at filling rack
  • * Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank
  • * Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded
  • * Drives truck to customer's premises
  • * Connects hose to tank and opens valves
  • * Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer
  • * Attaches ground wire to truck
  • * Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
  • * Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
  • * Loads and unloads truck
  • * Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
  • * Performs daily pre and post trip of vehicle
  • * Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

  • * High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution
  • * Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience OR Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience
  • * Hazmat Certification
  • * Manual transmission experience
  • * Clean driving record
  • * Customer Service and Teamwork
  • * Strong Verbal and written communication skills
  • * Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
  • * Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
