Your Role
Kuehne + Nagel is a market leader in the Netherlands in the field of Air Freight. From the Revenue Care Center, we ensure our customers receive the service we are known for. Within this business unit, we are looking for a Revenue Care Specialist. As a Revenue Care Specialist, you are responsible for meeting the financial expectations of our stakeholders and customers. During the processes, you are in continuous contact with both the Customer Care team and the Operational Care team about their progress and processes. You can maintain an overview in a dynamic environment and guarantee high data quality. You have a keen eye for the numbers behind all logistics operations and are frequently in contact with the team and involved parties.
Your Responsibilities
Checking incoming and outgoing invoices for the assigned operational departments
Monitoring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of sales invoices and ensuring that disputed invoices are followed up on time
Solving queries and issues in collaboration with operational colleagues
Verifying and determining the correct results
Communicating incorrect invoices to suppliers and/or customers
Preparing invoices for payment
Ensuring the recharging of costs in consultation with the forwarder
Implementing corrections in consultation with the supervisor
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor / HBO e.g. business administration, accountancy, economics, banking
Previous experience in a similar position would be beneficial
Knowledge of freight forwarding and air logistics would be an asset
Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Strong personality with excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset
Proactive mindset with an eye for detail and initiative
Comfortable with processing and maintaining data
Proficient in working with various software systems
