The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and analytical skills to ensure that production runs smoothly and meets customer expectations for delivery targets. The Scheduler will work closely with Plant Manager, Customer Service, Maintenance Teams and other Stakeholders to coordinate activities and optimize resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Production Schedules: Create and update detailed production schedules that optimize run times and minimize downtime across multiple facilities using scheduling software.

Optimize Resource Utilization: Work with the Production Managers and Maintenance Teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that equipment and personnel are used efficiently.

Monitor and Adjust Schedules: Track production progress, identify bottlenecks or delays, and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely completion of production targets to meet customer commitments.

Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Schedule regular maintenance and repair activities to minimize disruption to production and ensure equipment reliability.

Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for schedule-related inquiries, providing regular updates to stakeholders and facilitating communication between facilities.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and performance metrics for continuous improvement and future planning.

Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on production status, highlighting key metrics, potential issues, and recommended actions.

The positon will takeover planning of the Washington location.

Essential Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in using production management software and tools.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.

Experience:

5 years of experience in production planning/scheduling, in a manufacturing environment

Experience with lead time requirements as low as 2-3 days up to 2-3 weeks, depending on product. Quick turnaround time is essential to company success

Experience with lead time modeling

Educational Requirements:

Certificate in planning or scheduling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
