Staff Scheduling Assistant- Home Health Aide Program

The scheduler is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of all home care visits, including participant and home health aide schedules.

Maintains good communication with Homecare staff, participants, , nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Primarily responsible to schedule a team of home health aides who are caring for patients in Schenectady county. Works as a member of a home health aide scheduling team with 4 other aide schedulers and a scheduling supervisor for a total of 70+ aides. Ensures aide services are scheduled as ordered by physicians and authorized by the patient/insurer.

Requires High school diploma, the ability to multi-task, utilize computer systems, strong communication and customer service skills with clients, families, referral sources, clinicians, and aides.

Pay range: $17.25-$22.54

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
