Job Description Summary

The Safety Leader – Wind plays a critical role in ensuring workplace safety. In this role, you will conduct incident investigations, identifying corrective and preventive actions. You will also develop and implement safety guidelines and procedures, ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day EHS support for that facility.

  • Serve as best practice/quality resource for the facility. Have awareness of the latest technical developments in the area and contribute towards strategy and policy development.

  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Use judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. You will take new perspectives on existing processes or problems to help solve.

  • Act as a resource for colleagues throughout the facility. You may lead projects within cross-functional teams.

  • Develop, implement and maintain a program to reduce occupational injuries and illnesses, including area assessments, injury investigations and clear, measurable goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college plus 6 years of experience in a manufacturing safety (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing with emphasis on safety roles)

  • Manufacturing or equivalent working environment with responsibilities related to safety

The base pay range for this position is $113,000 - $140,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation 15%. This posting is expected to close no earlier than 7/20/2024.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
