Project Management Coordinator

Job Description Summary

-The Project Management Coordinator is an essential part of the project management team. They act as support to several project managers across all functions of the project. Services Projects include Major Component Upgrades, Complex Up Tower Repairs, and Modifications and upgrades. These projects have a major impact on the availability of the GE Vernova Fleet.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Project Manager Coordinator you will:

-Support several Project Managers from the identification of a project to it's execution and ultimate close.

-Examples of activities include but are not limited to creating Service Requests, request Purchase Orders for cranes and/or labor, Order parts, and support the Plan of the Day with teams in the field.

-Project Manager Coordinators also support problem solving issues alongside the Project Managers to ensure that teams in the field are able to execute safely, with quality, and as efficiently as possible. GE Vernova is responsible for thousands of turbines globally and you will be helping make sure that they are producing as much renewable electricity as possible on any given day.

• Support project execution from Engineering Disposition through Return to Service and to job closure including invoicing, quality reporting, and debriefing

• Ensure all necessary planning tasks are completed prior to field mobilization including Purchase Orders, Service Request Approval, and Tooling orders

• Focus on delivery of all KPI's to the business including speed to invoice, standby and backlog reduction, and margin optimization.

• Act as a backup to the Project Manager in short term as needed

• Energetic self starter with a desire to learn with a focus on continuous improvement

• Clear communicator who can expand their network across a matrixed organization

• Work with execution leaders at sites to insure on time and quality execution

• Support cross functional teams to ensure all aspects of the job are prepared for success. This includes Engineering, Logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, Sourcing, and on site leaders.

• Support Schedulers to ensure that dates and sequence of jobs are accurate. Notify relevant teams of schedule changes.

• Create and support Plans of the Day to ensure that updates on field execution are available to the business.

• Partner with leaders of each revenue stream and finance to ensure transparency of delivery and when necessary, invoicing of all necessary costs.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

• OR Associate's Degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum 7 years of experience in an operational / execution role

• OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an operational / execution role

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational / execution role

• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required
