Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a new business generator role within Marketing. The BDR will conduct daily administrative and lead generation activities for the team, maintain accurate customer data, generate reports, and engage with internal stakeholders to uphold business development strategy and goals within assigned market segment and/or region. The BDR will generate Sales Qualified Leads SQL by prospecting and nurturing prospective accounts through marketing programs and outreach. The BDR participates in Proven’s sales training and development with growth opportunities in Marketing, Sales and Business Development.
Responsibilities
Create and execute personalized InMail and email cadences to targeted individuals and companies.
Prospect, review and target assigned leads, ensuring proper follow-up and data management.
Leverage your appointment-building skills to set meetings.
Conduct thorough research on target prospects to understand their needs and preferences.
Craft compelling and customized messaging, leveraging strong writing skills, to drive survey responses and generate qualified leads.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Utilize various lead generation tools, social media platforms, and industry databases to create a pipeline of potential clients.
Utilize a given talk track when prospecting and networking to set meetings.
Schedule appointments, demonstrations, and meetings for the sales team, ensuring accurate and timely coordination.
Meet activity goals weekly for tele prospecting, lead qualification and appointments setting.
Develop and implement demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, content distribution, webinars, and other strategies to attract and engage leads.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity notes and actions in CRM.
Continuously stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to tailor communication and outreach strategies.
Support presales administrative activities to contribute to strategy development process.
Track and maintain lists of business opportunities in market segments and/or local region.
Conduct research to identify and determine qualified target areas, projects, and clients in support of business development strategy.
Produce accurate business development reports and scorecard to reflect state of pursuits.

Requirements
Requirements
Sales or Marketing experience preferred.
BS/BA degree in business or another related field.
Previous business-to-business sales experience.
Previous experience in the technology field preferred.
Organizational skills.
Possesses basic business acumen.

Experience with MS Office Suite, CRM Software, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Power BI, LinkedIn.
Valid driver’s license, minimum levels of auto insurance coverage and reliable transportation.
Must be flexible in break and lunch periods depending on workflow.
This is an 8am to 5pm position with the potential to go outside of these hours to meet deadlines.
