Description
Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Banking Specialist to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for routine installation, repair, rebuilding, replacement, programming, and service for electronic security equipment and systems in financial facilities. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

Responds to routine and complex service calls and scheduled maintenance calls, including emergency and afterhours service calls on a timely basis; will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug systems.
Uses solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Analyzes repair requirements and provide customer with appropriate solutions; completes necessary repairs and replacements as needed; exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
Always presents a professional image of Convergint Technologies in appearance and behavior; seeks opportunities to promote the services offered by the company.
Communicates with customers on scheduling, troubleshooting findings, possible solutions, and the final resolution to their service issue.
Participates in the on-call rotation for service needs after hours and weekends.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You’ll Need
Working knowledge of drive up, locking and electronic systems specific to banking industry.
Basic knowledge of Digital Video Recorders (DVR’s) and Network Video Recorders (NVR’s) connected to the remote system.
Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Customer Focus – Maintaining awareness of and seeking to meet of the needs and wants of the customer.
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
Adaptability – Responds effectively to changes in situation or information.

Requirements:
Education: High School diploma/GED (Technical diploma or degree preferred)
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
- 1-3 years of previous experience working on intrusion, access control, or CCTV systems for commercial customers.
